We help business people support the arts and the arts inspire business people, because good business and great art together create a richer society" We aim to achieve this vision through bringing business and the arts together in order to maximise business appreciation of, use of, and investment in the arts. We aim to be the first port of call for businesses looking for creative engagement with the arts. Our duty to the arts is to help them maximise the opportunities of working with the private sector.
We deliver this vision and core purpose through two strategic ambitions, working with the corporate and cultural sectors to help them to:
- Increase private sector resources to the arts – working towards £1 billion by 2015
- Transform the relationship between business and the arts
The largest network of its kind, Arts & Business has been the connecting point for the business and arts communities for 30 years. At the heart of our work is the knowledge that the arts deliver unique, creative solutions that can help business to achieve success on a number of fronts.
Arts & Business engages with a diverse range of stakeholders including business, the arts, local government, development agencies, funding bodies and the media. This creates a truly unique mix and a wealth of information and resources for our members.
Arts & Business employs over 100 experienced staff through its 18 offices located around the UK and provides a service to over 500 of the most creative and innovative companies, and over 1,000 arts and heritage organisations in the UK.
Arts & Business is a registered charity with a commercial arm providing membership, consultancy and a range of professional development programmes.
